Austria - home to music

Austria is located in central Europe, all known as the Republic of Austria. Country name in German means "country of the Orient." Area of about 83,900 square kilometers. Population of 8.05 million, most of the Austrians. Residents are Catholic. The official language is German. Currency is the euro. Vienna (wien).

History

Until the 12th century it was an independent nation, but 1278 heralded the start of 640 years of Habsburg rule. In 1815, the German confederation was established. In 1866, Austria was defeated in the Austro-Prussian War, which saw the collapse of the confederation. In 1867, Hungary signed the establishment of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. After World War I, the Empire disintegrated, and a republic was established. May 1938 saw the annexation by Hitler's Germany. "World War II" after the Soviet Union, the United States, Britain and France occupied the four countries. In April 1945, a second republic was established. In October 1955, Austrian regained its independence.

Economic and Cultural Customs

Austria is a developed industrial country. It has metallurgy and advanced technology industries and is known as an important producer of aluminum, machinery and factory equipment. The country also exports a large number of high-quality firearms and has livestock-based agriculture.
Austria is mentioned in the Christmas carol "Silent Night," a well-known western song. Vienna has the world's only riding school for the Sapporo stallion, known European asylum superb horsemanship equestrian instructors.

Underground Lake

Europe's largest underground lake is one of Austria's main tourist attractions. It is known as the "underground fairy kingdom" and occupies an area of 6,200 square meters in a village west of Vienna,. Vienna State Opera

This is a world-famous theater with 200 years of history. Many famous composers have performed in the theater, which has helped Vienna become known as "the world's opera center." The annual New Year "Golden Hall" is organized to perform works by the Strauss family. Austrians love music, concert halls and opera houses.

Salzburg

Salzburg is an Austrian tourist and artistic center. The buildings are comparable with those of Venice and Florence and include Huoheng Salzburg, Mirabell Palace, the Royal Garden, Mozart's statue and other tourist attractions. Huoheng Salzburg is the best preserved in central Europe and is the size of an ancient castle. After 900 years of wind and rain, it is still standing on a 100 high hill. The castle area is very broad and is surrounded by tall, thick walls.
